Murphy Beds of Florida is proud to offer our StudyBED™ product line.
This revolutionary design combines a large desk/work surface with a bed. Some folks call it a desk bed or a hidden bed. The really cool thing about this versatile piece of furniture is that everything that is on the desk can stay on the desk when the bed is opened. If you look carefully in the two photos below you can see the items on the desk in the same spot whether the bed is closed or open. This means you can convert from a desk to a bed in 3 seconds. Just imagine the convenience and the great use of the space in your room.
This is one of those revolutionary designs that most people don't believe is real. Virtually everyone who sees this for the first time cannot believe their eyes. So much is happening so effortlessly and quickly it is hard to take it in all at once. We often demonstrate the conversion two to three times before folks are convinced that is not some magic trick. Nothing slides or falls off the desk when the bed is opened. Until this is seen in action, no one suspects that there is a bed hidden inside. It really does work!
We offer the StudyBED™ in 5 different sizes: Twin, TwinXL, Full, FullXL, and Queen. The photo below shows a Horizontal Twin. Horizontal simply means that the side of the bed is against the wall (as opposed to the head of the bed being against the wall). Note that the pillow(s) can be placed at either the left or right side of the bed as seen from the center of the room. The dimensions for the Horizontal StudyBED™ can be found here.

The StudyBED™ is available in Twin, Twin-XL, Full, Full-XL, and Queen.
Each bed accepts your standard mattress with a maximum of 10" in thickness.

The top cabinet is also available with doors, as seen below. A side cabinet can be added to either, or both, side(s).
