Delivery & Installation

Standard Delivery and Installation are INCLUDED in our pricing.*

Standard Professional Installation: Standard installation will leave your existing baseboard and flooring intact. The back of the bed and side cabinetry will be usually be notched to accomodate up to a 5" tall baseboard. If your baseboard is taller, please let us know at the time of order. By installing the bed cabinet in this manner, the bed will be fully supported on the floor and it will not damage the baseboard in case you ever want to move your murphy bed to a new location. The cabinetry is NOT attached to the floor, thus avoiding damage to the flooring and/or carpeting. There will be three to four screws mounted into the studs above the bed to keep the cabinetry from tipping. If the murphy bed is removed, the wall repairs consist of a simple drywall patch and touch-up paint. Each hole should be less than 1" in diameter, or less than the size of a quarter.

Standard Delivery: Standard Delivery is within our Standard Delivery Area**. Standard delivery includes up to two flights of stairs. Or, if an elevator is available, all of the cabinetry fits into the elevator cab. Usually this is fine. Occasionally we find a very small elevator that requires us to use an alternative method of delivery. Standard delivery also means that our delivery vehicle can unload relatively close to your building, and without incurring extra parking fees.

** Standard Delivery Area: Includes Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, and St. Johns Counties in NE Florida. An upcharge will apply for delivery outside this area depending on actual delivery location.
