Side Cabinets

Our side cabinets come in two basic widths, 15" and 24" wide. They are designed to be used along side of the main bed cabinet in your Murphy Bed system. Below are renderings of the different side cabinets that are available.

Vertical Series 15" Wide: (shown here with Flat Panel Doors and Drawer Fronts)

VQ Series: 15" Wide x 83" High x 14.75" Deep - Designed to work with Vertical Queen and King Beds
VT Series: 15" Wide x 78" High x 14.75" Deep - Designed to work with Vertical Twin and Full Beds

15" wide cabinets come in 8 different configurations. These are a combination of open, adjustable shelves, doors (with adjustable shelves behind them), and drawers. Doors should be ordered as left or right so the handles are properly located.

24" wide cabinets come in 5 different configurations. These are similar to the 15" wide cabinets, however the doors are paired. (A 24" wide door in a sleeping area can be considered too unwieldly.)

Valet Rod

The two units with double upper doors also has a Valet Rod option. By moving their adjustable shelves down, or removing the shelves completely, one can hang clothes in the upper section. The Valet Rod is factory installed at the top and runs from front to back. This allows for approximately one foot of hanging rod per cabinet. Your guests will appreciate having their own space to hang items close at hand without having to "share" your other closet space.
